Being dedicated to the mission of the entire Blue Cross Blue Shield system, Consortium focuses exclusively on BCBS Plans. We do not operate as a health plan, but rather enable their success. In addition, we provide services to their affiliates and preferred vendor partners.
Consortium serves as the single point of contact to brokers/consultants of national accounts on behalf of the Blue Cross Blue Shield System. Broker/consultant support includes, but is not limited to, data, analytics, program briefings, requests for information, issue resolution, and technical support. Consortium provides sales, marketing, and data analytics support to Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans—as well as their affiliates, distribution partners, and solutions providers—who serve national account employers.
Consortium enables the success of Blue Cross Blue Shield Plans that have relationships with more than 778,000 providers nationwide. Consortium is not a health plan and does not contract with providers.
