Software Engineering Developer

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Developer to join the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) team. The Software Engineering Developer will be responsible for the development and maintenance of moderate to highly-complex technical solutions. Primary responsibilities will include design, development of application user interface and application.

  • Design, develop and implement technical systems through SDLC
  • Adhere to software quality standards and best practices to maintain the highest possible quality
  • Understand advanced development annd architecture design patterns
  • Research and contribute toward enterprise technology decisions
  • Leverage APIs and frameworks to integrate, design and build enterprise web applications
  • Participate in establishing, reviewing and maintaining IT security policies and procedures
  • Work closely and cooperatively with other staff members involved with information security and privacy issues
  • Participate in ensuring security compliance with governmental regulatory requirements (when applicable)
  • Ensure all systems are used for management-approved purposes only and application security protects the proprietary nature of the data

 


Software Engineering Lead

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineering Lead to join the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) team. The Software Engineering Lead is a developer role with leadership responsibilities of up to 6 software engineering staff members. This individual must have strong technical experience across front-end, middleware and back-end operations and have effectively supervised professional level staff.

  • Manage software engineering staff; setting goals and performance measures; providing technical as well as career coaching
  • Design, develop and implement technical systems through SDLC
  • Develop and implement software quality standards, and ensure that the team adheres to the standards to maintain the highest possible quality
  • Understand and be able to explain architecture and design to the team
  • Mentor developers to improve efficiency and increase skills
  • Understand advanced development and architecture design patterns
  • Research and contribute toward enterprise technology decisions
  • Leverage APIs and frameworks to integrate, design and build enterprise web applications

Computer Technical Support Associate

The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Computer Technical Support Associate to join the EIT team. The Computer Technical Support Associate provides internal systems analysis and customer technical support which includes diagnosing and resolving computer workstation hardware and software, telephone, network, operating system, printing, and Internet access issues. The Computer Technical Support Associate must have diverse technical knowledge, excellent time management skills and be able to communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution.

  • Work with all CHP employees to assess current systems, identify problems, and understand specific requirements to improve user experience
  • Work closely with the IT team to develop, test, and implement new systems and solutions
  • Ensure pertinent systems, user guides, and training documentation are complete and current.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, email, or in person
  • Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting and determine the best solution through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
  • Perform, install, upgrade, move, and change computer workstation hardware and software, printers, and other peripheral devices
  • Provide accurate information on IT products or services to users
  • Record events, problems, updates and their resolution in ticketing system (Jira)
  • Analyze and suggest possible improvements to help desk related process and procedures
  • Performs other information technology duties as required to support the end users

 


Chief Enterprise Architect

Job Summary:

The Chief Enterprise Architect provides leadership and direction in implementing a Consortium Health Plans-wide IT architecture that aligns with business strategies and initiatives.

The role is responsible for defining and updating Consortium’s multi-year architecture and technology roadmaps ensuring appropriate adoption of healthcare industry and technology standards and trends.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for articulating an overall architectural vision that guides the development and ongoing health of IT solutions across the organization.
  • Work closely with business teams, developing solutions and estimates for strategic initiatives, enterprise programs and transformational projects in collaboration with internal staff, Blue Plans, and partners.
  • Develops staff to provide excellence in IT architectural support.

Business Analyst

Job Summary:

The Business Analyst will work with an interdisciplinary team of economists, statisticians, actuaries, software developers, and other health care professionals to support the sales and retention of Blue Cross Blue Shield national accounts with advanced analytical tools, methods, and services. The Business Analyst will support the development and operations of products and services that demonstrate the strength and economic value of Blue Cross Blue Shield networks.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assist with investigation into potential data issues
  • Work with the Product Owner to develop detailed requirements, user stories, and business rules for application development in an Agile framework
  • Participate in User Acceptance, QA, and Regression Testing efforts
  • Assist in the operation, refresh, and production support of production systems
  • Coordinate with vendors and clients to resolve questions/issues regarding data
  • Assist in data intake and analysis processes
